| What is Hokkaido Heart Friends Society(Shinyu-kai)? |

The heart friends society branch of Hokkaido is organized by over 15 years old CHD patients. The CHD children have been survived and grown up to adults , thanks for the advanced medical care so they organized themselves as "The heart friends society" under the parents association. There are 43 members as of Mar.1999. Recreation events and therapy, learning, employment, marry, awareness life are information exchange. Major members are CHD patient but also welcoming postnatal disease persons. The heart friends society Branches cover prefecture to prefecture allover Japan. We are grant ourselves to be "the persons of self-help" instead of "the persons of protected" as well as we can. |
